Dude - I’ve asked you to tell me how it would work. I know what the law is. You want to blame the current laws for the cop’s death. You seem to think there’s some easy way for local jurisdictions to cooperate with ice on the ground. I want to hear your genius solution.

And yes, non-sanctuary states have these problems. And even states that want to help ICE haven’t been able to do it well, as evidenced by the agencies that have dropped out of the ICE program I posed a link to. So maybe you can solve all of the legal/financial matters that come along when local authorities try to do a federal agency’s job?
