I saw pics of the lacerations on his leg, they were minor actually. A lot less injury than what I imagined, given the size of the GWS. Just wanted a taste, lucky for the kid.

My 18YO grew up with and is good friends with one of the kids that was surfing with Wapner when he was hit. I believe he was the one who took the pics posted on still frothy. Luckily my sons friend is a Del Mar lifeguard and was able to provide first aid on the scene before driving him to the hospital.
