In my experience, the HT2 is borderline a good wave board.
It takes A LOT of energy to surf it in small or marginal waves.
Fine for a professional surfer. Maybe not the ideal shred stick if you want to get the most out of a session.
It needs waves with push but it's a good all-round everyday waves board for me.
Probably not the best board for a place like Pipes or Grandview.
A shaper once told me Marcio's boards are great for small, light guys like me but bigger guys struggle on them.
