Has anyone used the Futures fins WCT template as quads? What rear fins dis you use with them? How did it go?

I've used the FCS equivalent, the K2.1's as quads on a few boards and they worked well. One was a CI Semi Pro round tail and one was a Lost Mini Driver.

I would look at the rears from that set and try to find a Futures equivalent.

FCS K2.1 Quad Rear Fin Size:
Center Base: 4.07 in. 104 mm
Center Depth: 4.26 in. 108 mm
Surface Area: 12.64 in.² 8158 mm²
Sweep: 32.4°

I don't have them anymore so not sure if they were flat foil or had a slight inside foil 80/20 maybe?

You might post in the Fins thread as Retodd seems to be the guru on these sort of questions.

Qd2 4.15’s should do the trick. They are around 12.6 in area.

You can get a kp 2.1 quad set from larry at blocksurf for $90. Rears are flat-foiled!

I find this works for me with wide tail quads with rears places wide.

With narrow tails I use a less raked and smaller front than my thruster set. By first messing with rears I got lost in the woods until I changed the fronts.
