Swellinfo was decent depending on region. Sucks it’s dead. Is it a subscription now?

Their entire code for the website is corrupt because it was never maintained... and with programing you need to constantly work on your code.. They have 3rd party hired programmers working for pennys when they need to dish out dollars(No programmer will take this on properly without a pretty penny given to them) and they have no swell forecaster onboard... Its dead... its not the future of swell forecasting... it is owned by a click bait company...

Use buoy info and windy.com, if you don't you are a kook..

wait, what? 17 day? all i see is today and tomorrow. please enlighten me. i'm cheap and won't pay for surfline premium.

blue meant don't blow off work or family life, green meant higher probability of surf. IMHO swellinfo simplified a surf decision to binary. All contributing factors simplified to a yes/no decision ~3 days in advance.

Did this coincide with the GFS &/or ECMWF model updates? The code can't be that complicated with the increased resolution and forecast duration....

on the desktop surfline site can see the 17-day swell graph and get an idea of the swell forecast. can't see it on the mobile version though

Its safe to say that Swellinfo.com is Dead.... Carbon Media is going belly up like all the other click bate modeled businesses out their, its a good thing trust me, not the SI part but the Carbon Media part.... Carbon Media is just letting SI DIe a slow death like it has to dozens of domains before...
