Whoops. That video was available a few minutes ago. Just got pulled.

News Google search. "Tanker attack straight of Hormuz."

I believe something like a 1/5th of the world's oil supply passes through the straight.

Who hired Bolton? If a war starts it is 100% on Trump.

houthi's fired a missle across the border and struck an airport terminal in Saudi Arabia

why would Iran lash out like this, against Japanese and Norwegian vessels no less?

Directly, or at least indirectly, Hillary’s fault.

Drive a wedge between the US and the countries that have kept on the deal?
Provoke the US into a war to unite Iran behind the Ayatollahs?

My guess is the intellectual elite in Tehran would loooove to tie ropes around the wrists/ankles of the Ayatollahs, fix them to Hilux trailer hitches, and drive off in separate directions. One goes skiing, one goes surfing.

If the military signals that they won't support the Mohammad Freaks, a war uniting the country and putting the brakes on a revolution is their only gambit.

edit: this is just me brainstorming why it might be Iran, No idea on this one yet.

attacking proxies...

but what provoked this?

this seems to only have negative consequences, short of your theory about internal conflict...

Japan and the Norwegians are still abiding by the nuclear deal in whatever capacity, right?

(I don't know what/how that would be, also just spit balling)

I think a third party is trying to escalate tensions....that's why I alluded to the houthi

Looks like Bolton will get what he wants.
