You may want to check out Dick Proenneke and his documentary, Alone in the Wilderness. He did similar in Alaska for like 30 years (occasional short visits away) and was a photographer so there's lots of good visuals.

there is a weird show on History channel or whatever called Mountain Men

there was a guy that ran a trap line in Alaska, flew himself in and out.

he used a chainsaw, but he built a couple different cabins on the show; it
was really interesting to see how he built them up.

he cut it close on that roof finishing in September.... super rad.

damn. using courier font. that is fooking aggressive man.

The video in the OP is a total rip off of the original.

True
but I like the newer version much better without all the national geographic-like dialog
you are almost like his dog watching things unravel from the sidelines

don't know if he used a chainsaw but i like his hand tool usage
seems like a hunter without showing any hunting just fishing
using the canoe as an umbrella was funny

I cleaned up the flooding caused by a broken sump pump in my apartment yesterday.

I normally don't do work like that.

But I was impressed at how I dispatched.

Maybe it was the speed I took?

I had to shit in a plastic bag this morning.
