I've owned 2 or 3 Griffins surfboards, and had the chance to try out many more of Greg's designs back in the day when we used to have the Fish Frys, and AB3 events. Every single one of those surfboards was nothing short of excellent! Remember that little green Modfish? thing got passed around like a sorority girl shocked all the boys had a go on her. Anyhow just giving props/respect, and Happy Birthday GG! bowdown

happy birthday Greg!
I'm very happy for all the good going your way these days
I remember those tough times
not many knew what it was like for you back then or were there

the talks were memorable
the boards even better

have a good one

still have the originally 5-fin fish you made me back in the early 2000's still in decent shape as a poly although my brother uses it now.

I think Tomo is with firewire for more than just money. He helped them developed the LFT tech. I think he sincerely believes in the tech -deforest

I think the USA "made in america" board builders "marketing" gimmick falls more inline with a cult than the firewire following -deforest

Thanks guys , Its taken 1/2 years to get the house built with the plan to travel after it is done.

I look forward to coming to the southern and northern west coast in the future .

Possibly 1 month a year in Hawaii too.

Plenty of good surf here to keep it fun too . wave2
