Anything over 4' is A-game only, in my opinion.

This is really hitting me. Marcus was a guy that every time I surfed Pipe, which is ten times a season, max, he was out there, smiling, stoked, high fives, just a super stoked, super friendly guy who charged.

One of my mom's best pals died yesterday. brain cancer that was diagnosed just a few months ago

So instead of a trip to Tortola we're going to Vero next week to hang with Mom. life is short

The word that is going around is that he had a heart attack in the lineup and was brought to shore by fellow surfers, who were unable to resuscitate him. I have no first-hand knowledge, but this is what I've been told.

Didnt know but apparently he did have a heart condition. Lane Davey (photog Seans wife) saw him go down. They got him on to the shore but was too late.
