I ride the same fin no matter what the size. I just am so used to the feeling so I ride what I'm used to when it gets bigger. I ride the AM2 in all my boards. The only time that I will ever downsize my fins is with a quad. I feel like with the extra fin having bigger fins feels like too much back there. With smaller fins you still get drive but can turn it better. But saying that I don't ride quads that often. Mostly thruster and twins on smaller waves (maybe with a baby trailer). Just my two cents. I used to play with the fins so much but as I've progressed I've found that keeping it simple is the best for me.
