I named the puppy "5 Miles".

Every day at work I can brag how I walked 5 miles in the morning and was looking forward to when I get home so I could do it again.

Spots these days are all named.

With some luck, you might even find some of them.

Whether you are golden enough to actually paddle out and surf them is a whole nother story.

I had an unnamed semi-secret spot. Usually I was alone. Sometimes a camper from Wisconsin or someplace would vomit out a couple friendly n00bs on hydroslides (not even shitting). Then some trees got cut down, by man or hurricane. Last time I checked it and it was remotely close to working (overwedged one bangers) there was a pack of 8 retards hassling each other. It looked like their leashes were tangled they were so close.

RIP left wedge with long runner line and tight coping. I hope the maggots get cast at by recreational fisherman and run over by commercial fisherman.

This sounds like my favorite wave. Not a secret, man made "mistakes" enhanced the wave to wedge up, shifting, left with a very rippable shoulder! The fishermen, at high tide, weren't a problem, but when the tide dropped, the ones that wouldn't move were right in the middle of the zone. Unfortunately, the place has been overrun with surf schools graduates and wave storms!

During the summer, when I just need to get wet, I surf a weak spot I call Cracks, and another one I named Boulders due to exposed rip rap on the shore. Scheduled for sand replenishment next month to support the new hotel being built on the cliff. Last time sand refill happened, my bro-in-law named the spot "Neck Crackers" cuz be hit his head on the shorepound and had to go to ER for cracked vertebrae.

If I had to name the beach today, I'd call it "Cobbles", cuz there isn't any beach, just stones and reef.

I was going to name my dog Sandy Hook National Seashore Cove but my wife said that name was too long.

Nice doggie BTW...
