I dont have a GX, I have a bump squash Allan Gibbons that I recently starting running medium Alpha JJFs in. Really well rounded fin. Me gusta mucho.

I think Tomo is with firewire for more than just money. He helped them developed the LFT tech. I think he sincerely believes in the tech -deforest

I think the USA "made in america" board builders "marketing" gimmick falls more inline with a cult than the firewire following -deforest

So... is this a defacto DD or what? I think Im on my 3rd or 4th year since the revelation. On my second gx squash and have a gx round.

Pretty much all I surf as far as pointy nosed boards. Range of the squash is ridiculous (3 shorter than me) while the round (my height) picks up where it leaves off and has plenty of range when its actually smaller than expected.

Have to say Ive had zero regrets paddling out on either of these. No oh man, I should have ridde ... sensations.

Havent been tempted by other boards seriously enough to email a shaper or make extended visits to a board room to feel things up. Shoots, I sold off 2 pointy nose boards in the last year due to lack of use.

I think so. I'm on year 2 of DD'ing a GX or GX variant and unless it's huge or tiny, there's basically no point in other boards. It also really makes me want to get a step up and groveler from Tim...

I'm going to order a slightly modified version of my current GX in epoxy in the next few months.
