I had a pair of Electric almost 20 years ago... they were good... although like almost every other brand though. Nothing special.

Recently picked up a par of Otis.. the kid at the shop told me to try and scratch their lenses with a key.
They are a little pricier.. but you can feel the quality when you pick them up.

Nope, not a rep. happy with mine

Mineral glass...had a pair and couldn't believe how durable they were. Leave them lens side down all the time and never got a scratch. Worth the $ if you are careless with them like me.

I liked their ads years ago with people in white jump suits out in the country.

As for glasses, Iearned years ago with my wallet, if your going to spend money on glasses, they better be glass, and they better be polarized.

I wish I could cold rock all the farkers who sold me polycabinate glass lenses square on the nose. They knew better.

Costa's glass lenses can't be beat for the price IMO. I had a durability issue with one pair and even out of warranty they replaced them with a pair of equal value. Sorry, this doesn't have anything to do with electric but like what was said above, a good quality glass lense is pretty damn nice.

This is a bad day for the news media. Lets not kid ourselves, Toobin said on CNN. The larger message that a lot of people are going to take from this story is that the news media are a bunch of leftist liars who are dying to get the president, and theyre willing to lie to do it.

Pertinent to the season - I've been happy with my Electric snow goggles.

Easy to change lenses, and new colorways mean last year's on sale for cheap. Pleased to see they didn't pull a dickmove and change out the mounts and discontinue 2yr old lenses.

Otis was next in line after I checked all the displays of shades it was Electric or Otis but before I tried on Otis I found a pair I liked. The price was same +/- a couple bucks.

regarding Otis...

I was in the shop for an hour trying on every brand... they all felt almost the same.

Wasn't familiar with Otis... picked them up and they felt more solid, stronger, better constructed.

Didn't want to spend that much... but they are legit... and nobody else I see is really rocking them down at my local.

A long time skiier. Vaurnets through the 70's. early 80's.

Then a switch in the 90's to Ray Bans. Prescription lenses, heavily polarized, to the point if you are wearing them you cannot even see a computer screen.

Great for sailing.
