Been riding and loving a fresh batch of Timmy Pattersons boards. I had been a longtime fan, but never actually pulled in, I realized its now or never: getting older, having kids and the good surfing is happening less and less.

Ordered a 5'8 New Sun 5'10 pool party and a 5'11 IF15.

Right away you can tell these blades are Fast, they are built for speed and also paddle well.

One thing i might add is these boards are challenging, with all this speed, the quest has begun to get the timing right and proper finning to control them. Overall its been going well and I'm stoked. good to be pushed

Just wanted to share and thank Patterson team for the boards. some of the best boards ever so far

I'm feeling you .....got a 6'0" IF15 and I do believe it's the best shortboard I've ever ridden.

Sounds like you need some smaller fins? How are the rails compared to what youre used to? If there is a lot of foam and youre not a big guy, that could be a reason, too.

Glad youre enjoying the honeymoon. Sometimes I take it for granted but when you get a dud, there is no honeymoon. Sounds like these are increasing your fun factor and thats a win.

More boards is always the right answer.

I've got my first Patterson on the way, an F-15 round tail. Can't wait.

Timmy's been making amazing boards for a long time. Hell of a nice guy too.

Had a bunch before the model days... really good. He has a unique rail that works really really well.

Been a number of years since I've seen one of his boards. 20 years ago his boards sure were drool worthy.

What's the difference between conservatives and liberals?

Conservatives get angry when you lie to them. Liberals get angry when you tell
them the truth.

A little beefier than stock, but only a beesdick.

I'll review it soon.

So looking forward to hearing more reviews on the IF15. Timmy's really found a great surfer to partner with. I had a couple Pat O'connell trade ins 15 years ago that were magic. Think I might go for a custom IF15

The Clam and the Speed Drive are both step down models.

Never tried the Clam, but the Speed Drive is a good board.

Chopped Clam looks fun too!
