Wow, that was really impressive and gnarly! I want NOTHING to do with temperatures like that. Kudos to a equatorial living guy taking it on.

That was a really great video. Seems like a pretty real guy and I like that he does the music and the production.

Burton is a true classic. His Instagram feed is epic. So stocked to surf blown out, freezing, waist-high slop in the lakes. Always cheers me up.

What's the paddle-out like? Is there a keyhole? Can you walk up one of the points and jump in? Or do you just have to sack up and duck dive ice water? Any way you look at it, great clips and great waves!

I always admired "subway when he started posting on the erBB. He use to take the subway in his wetsuit, with a surfboard and his "downtown work clothes", hit the beach with snow all over fook and go surfing. Crazy poop. Then take a hot shower at work and change into his suit.
But these Great Lakes surfer's take it to a whole different level. Mucho respect to ALL cold water surfers!

cheers

That was a really great little show. Well shot, great characters with legitimate surf stoke, and some epic waves. Well done to everyone involved! Hope the series can keep up the high standard!

Used to do the same as a Grom before I could drive. Would get some funny looks from people at the 13 year old with a surfboard in penn station. People used to tell me no surf in NY, so Id tell them then dont start. LIRR localism!

Being stoked to get a license and truck was an understatement.
