Respectfully... I don’t think it’s accurate to say DT is moving towards the status quo. I think pointy nose boards are probably more definitive of the status quo in surfing than a round nose? Not many top/leading shapers are doing torpedo noses and if Tomo Surfboards is going to dedicate rounded noses on new models from now on, I presume that a series (maybe a “Hydro Series”) is going to emerge. As a fan, I’m hoping his revisits some of his older tail shapes with torpedo noses!
