That's the standard weight of his boards? I kind of skimmed through the video.

How light is too light?

I thought lb in foam was density?

I would like to try a 6'2"

He is talking about foam density

Using the heavier , stronger and more durable 2 lb foam in this model + extra glass .

Love my Hydronaut! Mine's in XTR though. 2lb foam density with a stringer and 4x4x4oz glassing. Perfect for me at 160lbs.

Looks a lot like a Bonzer Pod.

I'm pretty sure he stole the Bonzer Pod file and made an exact copy of it. monkey

I've also heard the hydronaut looks exactly like a CI TLow with the nose cut off. Maybe CI just added a pointy nose to the Bonzer Pod??

I can't keep up these days. toilet

Yeah, I'm not saying he swiped the file or even looked at a Pod. I'm just noting there are some obvious similarities to that preexistent design and I think it is interesting to observe the direction into which DT's boards continue to evolve as he seemingly moves ever closer to status quo.

I would imagine the rocker is significantly different.

I suspected that's what you were saying, but wasn't 100% sure. Inevitably, there's always someone in a Tomo thread that says "this board looks exactly like that one" and I just wanted to poke a little fun.

My post was in jest. cheers
