That seems short. What are the rest of the dims?

Italo rides one a couple inches over his height I think?

6'0 x 19.75" x 2.5" around 31 liters.

I like riding shortboards around my height (6 foot 1 ish). I have a narrow stance from growing up skating before surfing.

Nice, sounds good. Did you ever get a Phantom?

I was thinking either Phantom, Black / White or Patterson Italo. Patterson are about 50 cheaper than the others, so used that savings for a grey airbrush.

yeah, I was thinking of trying an F15 as well. I like my phantom but it feels a little too short. I shouldn't have listened to shey on that one.

shoot, I'm sorry. I was just literally hemming and hawing over F15 dims, trying to decide between a 6'3 and 6'4 when I saw your post and then it made me question everything lol

I've always wanted a channel bottomed Built for Speed, but $1,000 is a bit steep.

I have yet to try any of the fancier constructions and I find the wood stringers to feel normal (not overly stiff) but I'm 180-190, ymmv.

My two cents, go SL-CK just for fun and bc it's an option. It definitely has a different feel than a stringered board. It does this weird thing where it's stiff when it needs to be and then can be flexy which makes for a really interesting feeling when pushing down the line.

I just got off the new Italo Pool Party model. Its the newest Italo model and it felt really good! Its wider and can be ridden shorter than the other Italo model. There is a blog post on Timmys website about it. Pretty sick board.

Im 56 and I had a 58 Italo pool party and it felt good... but I think 56 or 57 would have felt better. The wide point feels center/a little forward. I think Racer is spot on for going with a 60 (his same height) especially if he has a narrow stance.

Also, the Italo model was PU and was 25.59L. My new hydroshort squash in XTR is 25.5L and before that I was riding FW Vader at 24.5L. They all feel about the same but the PU was heavier then the FW a little less then XTR is super light. Id say the XTR feels about 0.5L more than PU (not noticeable). I did notice that the XTR felt corkier than both the PU and the FW. But now that Im used to it I like the XTR.
Just my 2 cents.
