SF is a rad place with tons of culture. I don't know anything about the music scene except that friends have taken me to some fun places with great jazz and killer atmosphere.
When I was single, I found it a great city to meet eligible young ladies.

Doof should have a comprehensive list of punk bars for you. I have a beat-up Bonzer5 6'5 that floats and paddles an old 180lbs well. I am planning on getting rid of my old boards, if it is still here you can use it if you think it will work.

I lived north of the Bay Area for 6 years... traveled down for memorable shows.

A good show every week if you stumble upon it

Google this shit... plan accordingly

Rock on!!

I've got a board (or three) that will float you for December waves...you might be overgunned if it is is small, but will be fine if it is medium to big.

I take it you aren't so interested in the underage bands of Gilman St, yes?

When in December? Where you staying? For how long? How you getting here? Visiting friends?

Be interested in seeing these guys?

I also know a great place for post late night brunch

I'll send a PM later with more details.

I'm not into punk, but Bender's typically has punk type shows and a really good burger in the back.
