It would be immoral for the US to do anything about it.
This is not our problem.
...until it is.
Until there are Russian troops on OUR border this is not our issue
Are you willing to die for Odessa?
I support the draft. When it was my turn I reported.
That didn't answer my question; we all had to report to Selective Service
but in that case would you sacrifice your kids or grandkids for Kiev?
A fight not joined is a fight not enjoyed. I would leave it to my kids or grandkids to decide their own response. Both of my sons are Marines. My daughter OTOH would give the enemy the following address: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC.
This doesn't look like a big move to me, it looks like a minor dustup in the midst of an ongoing conflict. I think Russia have already achieved their strategic goals in Ukraine. They already shoplifted Crimea and have tied up the eastern border with minimal commitment on their part. I seriously doubt Putin wants to invade Ukraine. Could totally see him being a prick about access to the sea of Azov, but we knew that was coming once he made the play for Crimea.
I doubt Trump will do anything overt to address this.
