Yeah their MT is pretty spot on @6'3x180. My 3/2 Psycho 1 felt a bit tight across chest from the zipper but did loosen up a bit. My LT psychotech felt simlar size wise to my MT. Don't think I could've worn a MT in the 5/4 but reading bluegreen saying his is flushing at 190 makes me wonder if I would've had flush issues also. I think fillabongs MT tops out at 6'3x180 just like ONeill. Seen a few guys running them around here so may give their stuff a shot or Needs.

Good stuff. I think I've tried quick, hurly and xcel (all too short) but not sure i've tried buildabong yet. Some decent deals to be had but the top end furnace carbon ultra is still not cheap.

grendel95 I've had 2 and the higher end ones are pretty nice. Waterproof welded seams are a great as they sound and the neoprene is light and uber stretchy. I got a lower end one (Foil) last year and the neoprene split at the seams all over the place. Had to go in with some seam glue to put it back together. Hope it holds up through this winter. The higher end one I bought lasted for many years tho!

I've got a B-Bong Furnace Carbon 3/2. It's my first suit with a lining and it was the warmest 3/2 I've ever used - until it started to leak extremely badly in the crotch. I got a whole 5 months of use out of it before it started to leak though.

Season 2 has been not so warm. It's fully dead now. Honestly, for my usage it hasn't been the most durable suit. I normally get at least 2 seasons out of a suit; the 3rd season is the leaky one.

It's warmer than a unlined Need 3/2 though!

Anyone have any suggestions about booties. I always just used to let my feet freeze in Socal, but now that I'm in Norcal booties are a must. I started with Xcel Infinitis, which filled with too much water. Moved on to Rip Curl Fashbombs and sized down from a 12 to 11. Better but it feels like I have layer of jello in them. Anyone try the moldable Solights?

I've been on the Solite booties for the past year.

Pros:

Best fitting boot I've found
True to size
Good board feel

Cons:

Price
Velcro strap sucks
Seams around heel loop attachment failed after less than a year

The first ones I got were 7mm and while they were not as warm as some other 7mm they were fine for my area.
I guess they stopped making those and now 6mm is the thickest.
Bought a pair of the 6mm recently and my feet have been getting cold.

I'll probably go back to 7mm round toe Xcel Drylock sized down one size as I had been wearing for years prior.

Momentsurfco.com has 20% off sitewide, including the pattagucci stuff...

I just got in a new 2017 4/3 Xcel Infiniti back zip off of Seshday.com. $130. They had a Veterans Day promo code last week. I haven't used it yet but I tried it on and I thought it would be a little more flexible. I haven't bought a suit in 8 years, so can any Infiniti owners report if it will break in and get a little more flexible? I got a M and all my measurements are in that size range.

I also got 3mm Drylock booties that are a little sung. Will they stretch out a little as well? My feet measure 10 3/4" and I bought size 10's. My toes are not quite curling but there is no room left at all.

They will stretch, you want them snug. If they fit perfect when new they will usually be too loose after a dozen or so sessions in my experience.

Tried on some Solites last winter. Just didn't seem like they'd be that warm. I think Solite updated their boots this year to fix strap issues. Believe you can wear their heat booster sock under it also. Kinda defeats the purpose of more board feel if I have to wear two layers doesn't it? I haven't found anything warmer then the 7mm Drylocks.

Yeah I sent Solite an email asking if they would ever make 7mm or thicker booties and they responded just buy the booster socks. So, $90 for the booties + $25 for the booster socks which is just another thing I have to rinse and dry and keep track of...

After wearing Patagonia fullsuits for the past 10 years or so, I got fed up with the fact that they never seem to dry. That, and I like backzips, and the "pull over bib" part of the wetsuit always seemed to pop out of the neck for me, which SUCKED.

I went back to my old favorite, Body Glove. They fit me so well and are half the price, so even if I have to buy a new one every 1-2 years, I'm fine with that.

Anyone have info on the company(Body Glove)? Seems to me, based on online searching, that they aren't doing to well, or maybe they just have very limited distribution....?

$25 for booster socks? They sent them with my order (Oregon surf shop) free. They're pretty thin and don't seem like they'd add much warmth . The booties seem nice for my warm water application

NOT THAT KIND

these are 1mm neoprene not the same as the ones the booties come with.

I'm sold on the Yamamoto rubber. I wore a back-up vissla suit for the first time in a long time, after only using my Isurus and Feral suits last winter through now and it was noticeable

Bought a 3/2 xcel infiniti on steep and cheap for ~$180 including 3 day shipping and taxes, $20 cheaper than seshday.
Should last me at least 2 winters in OC, I wore a leaky as shite 3/2 all last winter and was fine. Need to snag a 4/3 and booties for trips up north though.

Isurus.

*ding*
I've been wearing my zipless(hooded) 3/3 Isurus since May.
Love it. Fits great, super stretchy, easy to put on, seals up well, and toasty.(so far)
I've dug every suit of theirs I've purchased.(even the SS 2/2 I wear
only when I make it south of Santa Barbara)
I did just order one of their new TI Alpha 5/4 hooded for this winter
to replace my old 4/3 Isurus.
