Can you imagine the killer microorganisms that will people will get from a wave pool in Australia? Everything there wants to kill you already... this wavepool is gonna make Texas look like a cleanroom.

That thing is nuts!

Looks like it could work.

It also looks like a lot could go wrong

ahahah same here!

i wonder if these wavepools will ever help sort out the crowd problem we have in europe. I'm sick of all these inland kooks snaking everyone and leaving their toilet paper in the cliffs while living the ~vanlife~ sick

This is actually a very simple design. Also, this could be the most energy efficient way to run a wave machine. Any energy source that could raise the giant plunger could run it.

Most recent stab article finally caught up with what the big break on the pool was. Apparently the big pipe that acts as the "handle" to the "plunger" is completely broken. It buckled and is unuseable at the moment. The guys who work there say "it's just a part, part's need to be replaced."

So we've got a wavepool that makes half the tour look like slow intermediates from the 80s, a wavepool Parko can't stick the drop on, and a wavepool with brain eating whatnot.

Just how low of rocker is required to make NLand fun?

Typhus Lagoon sounding better and better every day.

just hear occy say there a pro wave, an advanced, intermediate, and a beginner wave, it can be made twice the size we see here. joel blew it on the pro wave.

the best part is occ said they can take a beginner and in a few months have them surfing the pro wave smile
