I'd also say Enrique's in LB as well. Another good one is El Zarape in Cypress. Avilas in Seal and La Capilla in La Palma are also honorable mentions.

As a matter of fact, yes. The last place I ate in California was in Long Beach, cant remember the name but it was next to a tire store, and they had that and more. Not texmex, no globs of velveta cheese on everything.

Sit down Mexican - Rivera's, Los Compadres, Lola's (a little trendy, but good)
Hole in the wall - taqueria la Mexicana (4th just west of redondo), Casa Sanchez (Anaheim
Best fish tacos at Taco Nazo in Bellflower

Phnom Penm is great Cambodian
Hong Phat on Anaheim for the best Pho (nothing better after a cold winter dawn patrol)
Long Beach Thai restaurant (Anaheim street)
Tasty food to go (Laotian)
A few good Filipino places on the west side (Santa Fe st)

As mentioned above The attic and Beachwood (even though I prefer the OG Seal Beach local)
