I found the naish mast on aliexpress for 70 with free slow shipping.

Those $300 foils are the Moses/slingshot and takuma concept foils. They work. Guys on sea breeze forums use them to kite.

So what do I do? Just screw the foil into the foam of one of my boards?

You stick a foilmount on the board you want to use. Then you screw the foil into that track system.

Foilmount.com

Near as I can tell, this is the Naish mast btw.

Edit I took out the links because they were to long.

As for the foils. This is the Takuma Concept original design I think.

To my untrained eye, this looks like a Naish clone. It has a review of a guy who says he's a prone foiler.

Never, I'd imagine. Wavestorms are easy to ride and everyone uses them. Foils are like punching yourself in the face over and over while learning. I don't think Costco would find it profitable.

Plenty of people think the same thing about SUP in the surf.

Dont they sell inflatable SUPs at Costco, too? Inflatable wind surfing boards?

Looks like you may have posted the same link twice.

Found this one that seems to resemble the 2019 Naish, https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Z....2721b438Kdg0Md

Would you go with the Naish or Takuma Concept clone?

Why not order from shit China?

Prices for fin setup are outrageous. It's molded plastic ffs. Make me want to sell same fin design for half cost. Probably sell more than double other companies.

If youre going with the China one might as well get the cheaper one. Then when youre ready to get a better one next year get a name brand.

Make sure that after shipping its actually cheaper though. Good deals on the slingshot full setups on the kiteboarding sites. Like mackiteboarding.

I got the 63.5cm and 70cm Takuma style and have a Naish style one on the way. They look like Takumas, but are actually kind of different. There is a direct copy of the V100 on Ali tho. The 63.5 is this exact foil......

https://blueplanetsurf.com/products/rock-solid-hydro-foil-1300/

Im a noob but I bought a Slingshot setup a while ago and broke after I ate shit and got rolled around on reef. Lost everything except the mast. Only half a dozen or so sessions, and I wasnt setting the world on fire progression wise. It was a fair bit of money and my butthurt was very raw indeed.

I thought fvch it, if Im going to spend money again I may as well stretch it. These foils are epic for the price. I have made more progress in 3 sessions than I did the entire time I had the other setup.

They are well made and they fly well.

Im a proner.

Sweet. Post up pics of them or reviews when you get a chance. I'm fascinated by those foils. Have you ridden the name brand versions besides sling shot? I"d love to try different setups but it's way to expensive to buy multiple setups.
