Does anyone else think that this SuperTubos contest is a waste of Portugal's potential? It's more often than not washed/blown out with very few makeable barrels. So many AAA+ waves in the area, I don't understand why they would settle for Supertubos. Sure, it's awesome to see the surfers get pummelled on those near shorebreak heavies, but I rather watch them rip. They should move it to Coxos.

Kinda, ive surfed super a few times and its an amazing wave, however theyve been really unlucky. Thing is, if they go to coxos its gonna be yet another righthand pointbreak...

Tbh i like the carnage and unpredictability of super and france, i think what the tour really needs is a proper lefthand pointbreak. Also would be nice if they would score that lefthander in saquarema more often, not that this years barrels were not good, but its good to see the game change a bit.

Anyone noticing the on going bickering with Peter Mel? I've noticed it then they David and Bassy were talking about it on a podcast as well and they mentioned that there seems to be tension between him and anyone he's paired with.

I just heard them talking about Duke and Pete asked if he met him. Kind of funny to see this.

Go Toledo!

I like Gabby too though.

Or julie. IMO, the top 3 are the obvious 3 best surfers this year.

With that loss Toledo is probably out of the race... I mean... Both Medina and Julian are going to be ahead of him, and it's freaking Pipe! Toledo better start thinking of regrouping for next year... Or maybe a shot at the Triple Crown.
