Saw this last night in IMAX.

Liked it quite a lot.

Worth paying to see at the movies.

Q: Secret aspiration?
A: Buy Pezman's mag and turn it into a piece of crap.

Even with the revisionist history bullshit at the end?

Sorry, landing on the moon was not a "world accomplishment" as Ryan Gosling has stated. The US owns the moon dancing

A threat response is a potent trigger for motivated reasoning.

Was a good movie. A bit dark and brooding like any Ryan Gosling flick. Lots of loud noises and vibration along with dead silence. Good comparison to movie and "real life" here: First Man: History vs Hollywood

usually have a problem with movies I already know the end of but I liked this.

I saw an early cut almost 3.5 hours so not sure whats changed since but the stuff onland wasnt nearly good as all the space stuff then.

Would like to see the released film on the big screen for sure.

Production didn't really live up to the original back in 1969.

Shocked you weren't outraged at how un-MuriKKKan it was! Aren't your ilk all in an uproar at the hollywood libtards not showing the flag enough?

On a more serious side note if you haven't already seen the docuseries "When we left earth" you should.

I think Armstrong's famous line tells you he was thinking bigger than just the nation.

I liked the film. The first scene was the best. I also was thinking the gyroscope would make a good Disneyland ride.

A long time ago I met Dr. Ed Wortz who devised a lot of the experiments on weightlessness. He said the feeling of weightlessness is like falling. He said to imagine doing complex tasks with the feeling you have in your gut when you jump off a high dive.

I'm always amazed what they were able to accomplish with the technology available at the time. Think of the level of consumer electronics in the 60's to get an idea of how much we have advanced.
