For me?

Loss of my left lung due to pneumonia complications back in 1978.

A complete left knee rebuild in 2013.

Colon surgery for U/C. Hernia surgery to correct the Colon surgery.

I have developed an allergy to opiates. Extremely bad rash. But after everything under the sun, opiates work. I will take my Demerol and let my nurse rub the lotion into my skin.

I think it's your can-don't sprit holding you back and a low tolerance to pain.

A threat response is a potent trigger for motivated reasoning.

.
If you are truly allergic to opiates then you are in for a big fight. Lots of foods are teaming with opiates.

UC says that you have already stumbled over this fact. You just didn't know it.
