What s your go to board for those average waist to shoulder height beach break, cross shore wind, small fast breaking waves ? I see all those sick new boards, reviews on youtube but they always show those in perfect clean conditions, long peeling waves... not what most of us surf...

Performance twinny for me with upright twins. Fast out of the gate, beats sections, pivots tight in the pocket and very responsive.

That's pretty much the regular conditions at my local. What has worked the best for me is a quad fish, a Stamps Grinder X, and a Super Buzz

Seen a Bonzer work well in this, too. Long racers instead of one and done on the close out.

Greg,

Board has been going great, especially in the beach break here. It has been a little undergunned a few times, but that is not the board's fault. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it surfs overhead, steep waves. It's been great in the beach break barrels. I am really happy with it... thank you.

If there's some push, something like a sub driver. If it's super soft, something like a super buzz. Either balanced templates (FCS2 FT) or upright fins (Reactors).
