I was surfing with Rob in the Outer Banks and he was killing it on his Star Chip. The waves were chest high sometimes bigger with some punch. I wish I had my Black Punt but had pulled my Mutant out since the waves were pretty small in the morning and didn't know the size had come up. The get up and go of the waves there were much better suited to the longer rail and extra rocker that he had from his Star Chip compared to my board. Like you see in the video Rob's board was super fast and as loose as he wanted it. The kids we were surfing with that work at REAL Watersports were stoked on seeing someone 55+ and over 6'2 tall surfing the way he does. I'm getting one as soon as I can sell a couple older boards. @GregGriffin: Please give your design thoughts on Roberts new Twonzer fins design and fin placements. A few years ago, I ordered a Robin Mair Quadmatic with his HanaleiFins. Robin suggested trying the big fins in back although I never did. Going couple decades back, a friend had T&C twinzer shaped by Glenn Minami which he said was out of control fast! Anyway I am curious about any new design and value your opinion

Kudos to Noel and Roberts for that YouTube board test! Noel rips and his reviews at trestles are awesome. Roberts made 4 boards for that Board test and then Noel tried both with thruster and twonzer serups in both pu and eps! Simply awesomeness...

Would love to try this board. Looks very fun, especially with those fins.

I have one that is done in FCS fusions and I have a Bonzer5 side fin forward and a Stretch "The Buzz" big quad set lead fin behind. It works really really good. Sean Hayes was riding one with a similar setup and he loved it as well.

Do the fins come with the board? Maybe Noel mentioned it, but I didn't watch the video with sound.

Board looked like it worked well for him. Seemed like the tri setup went a lot better for him, probably because that's what he's used to.

Being a thruster guy myself, this makes me a little nervous about getting a twinzer.

If you order custom...No. Another $150 for fins. If you get off the rack, maybe, depends where you get it I think. When I looked at Real Watersports online they included them.

@GWS: I think I saw a pic of your Twonzer with FCS Fusions. It convinced me to order a 7'0 Fun One. Currently only availble in Futures. $150 for the custom canted Twonzer future fins.

In the Board Review video, it was interesting to see Noel "struggling" on the Twonzer after riding it thruster. Actual Speed or a sensation that its faster?

@greg griffin: Thanks for those pics. Beautiful G10 Fins!

Im assuming the board in the pic is a Twinzer? Robert's boards are a Twonzer which I believe is a blend of Twin and Bonzer...

FYI Robert's Twonzer is currently only available with Futures Boxes.
