Which is to say that Hillary does not command major influence as the Democrat party's last candidate for the nation's top office?

Which is to say that Hillary would not try again in a heartbeat if her rhetoric could garner even the slightest support?

Only in the world of a deluded apoloigist.

My criticism was not leveled at Hillary the private citizen. Hillary's statement was not based on Hilllary the private citizen. Hillary AGAIN was publicly blaming people for why she lost the election. Hillary's attempt at reversing the last election in her addled little head is strong evidence of what anyone with even half a brain can plainly see, that Hillary's rhetoric is aimed at re-running.

Does this episode make Hillary a better presidential prospect?
.

I think that whether she wants another shot or not, she is done. The smarter amongst the Dems will realize that after the DNC elder abuser/primary fixing they perpetrated - as well as losing to a reality TV personlaity, they need to clean house and come with a different plan. I'm guessing the intra party feuding is pretty active right now and hopefully they emerge with something more compelling.

I wish the same could be said for the RNC, but that won't happen for a bit, baring a complete slaughter in the mid-term elections.

So no, I don't think she commands major influence anymore. It strikes me as strange that you are still fixated on her. Maybe you're still fighting the last war instead of looking objectively at the next one?

This makes me wish youtube was around when Ulysses S. Grant was president.

Haven't you guys seen Trump climb or ascend a staircase?

Stairs scare the shit out of him.

That aside, for historical accuracy I think you'd have to give this woman credit for turning her life around and then going on to help loads of other people

a drug problem so bad, she had to start her own clinic.

I don't remember Betty Ford running for president or insulting American voters by gender.

I hope she stays front and center. I hope she writes another book explaining her loss. I hope she goes on a speaking tour. I hope she makes the rounds of all the political talk shows. I hope she traverses many flights of stairs in the future. You go girl!!!!!!!

I think many votes were cast "against" a candidate rather than "for" a candidate in this election.
