4 hr sesh at the left bar. head high to a little over. clean. fast sections that were makeable, slower sections that still had a steep wall to slash. feels great to surf the same wave a few days in a row. rode the pyzel phantom and it felt like the right call. hope my body holds up for tomorrow.

1st day of the New Year was pretty darn good.

The downside was summed up nicely in a conversation I overheard.

"It's like everyone from Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties who came to the City to party stayed to surf in the morning."

I came to the City to party NYE and left to go surf Sonoma Jan 1. Glad I made the right call.
