Made with the DSD progam and Machine way after the 90's

Philip Andrew Irons (July 24, 1978 – November 2, 2010) was an American professional surfer. Irons learned to surf on the dangerous and shallow reefs of the North Shore in Kauai, Hawaii. Over the course of his professional career, he won three world titles (2002, 2003, 2004), three Quiksilver Pro France titles (2003, 2004, 2005), two Rip Curl Pro Search titles (2006 and 2007) and 20 elite tour victories including the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing four times from 2002-2006.[3] On September 3, 2010 he won the Billabong Pro Teahupoo in Tahiti. He and his family hosted the Annual Irons Brothers Pinetrees Classic, a contest for youngsters. The Governor of Hawaii declared February 13 forever "Andy Irons Day". He is the only surfer to have won a title at every venue on the ASP calendar.[4]

Any time Andy brought another shapers board in that silly Rocker stick was used to measure it .

We could talk about all those Lost shapes that won so many contests made on Matts DSD machine way after the 90's as well .

Off to dinner , had a great time on the North Shore today . dancing

You stated that every champs board began with the stick. False! Try again.

Are you mental? Your responses are to me not jkb. Do you realize your delusional cryptic
Remarks don't make any sense? Do you realize you are the only one on this
Design forum that has this problem communicating? Everyone here knows your responses
make absolutely no sense? You do realize this don't you?

Matt has a DSD machine and uses a rocker bar in some of his videos

I only use mine to check blank rockers for machine cutting for the last 15 years .

Eric cuts 100 a week on his and another 100 are cut on other DSD machines on this Island .

Lots of happy customers .

Several AKU and APS machines with 1 KKL on Oahu .

For jkb

This is Bill in 1969 when he moved to Seaside Oregon and worked with Art Spence - a legendary character there at Tillamook Head Surfboards .

Art had me make him a 7'4 for his move and after he broke it he mounted it on the wall of the shop .

Agree or disagree with Bills work , he hand shaped every board , delt with all the elite team riders , glassing , accounts , and all the articles he wrote + helping other shapers be better . A 3 man job done by one .

Lot's of over saturated access is what I see. Anyone can be a shaper, doodle it, this from over saturation of the machine. Nothing wrong with that I think it's great. In defense of KKL, to build and engineer a KKL type of machine costs +4x the amount an APS machine costs to build. In defense of KKL their primary imdedus was not to build a machine every shaper can afford. Im sure they understood the market and didn't want to over saturate, very select market and very few machines.

Those in the know understand this, you have no clue what it takes to engineer, build, program and run a KKL type of machine. The cost to build a frame and guides cost more than single APS, just the controller costs more than it takes to build an APS.

The APS is a great price point machine just about any legit shaper can afford. But in terms of quality of build and abilities they are not in the same ball park. Truth, not something pulled out of ass.

Sorry erbb for the bickering hijack, but you know who Im communicating with, mr, black hole.
