I don't have one personally, but I don't think they do. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I need the fleece as well. Much warmer.

Aruka, have you ever tried Cybershield?

Yeah I had one a couple years back. Most I ever spent on a suit.

Really nice materials and rubber but the thing never fit me quite right. I know some people really liked them but I had issues with the cuffs wanting to peel back during wipeouts and also I had some seams start to go after a few months. Super buttery rubber was also pretty delicate. Zipperless entry was way more hassle than it was worth. Velcro wanted to stick to itself, the liner, my hair, etc.

I'm pretty sold on the Oniell Pyro/Psycho/whatever tech 5.5/4 hooded at this point because they fit me the best, are flexible and last quite a while but there's a couple months a year where I wouldn't mind something a little warmer TBH. I might just play around with some underlayers this summer when the water drops but I'm sort of tempted to just get a cheap 6mm xcel infiniti or something for those windy 46F water temp days.

I been wearing a Icebreaker wool, long sleeve T-shirt under my suit. It seems to help.

ALWAYS go with the maker that has the patterns that fit you.
And then get their top of the line.
Or go custom with Axxe. Used to get a new one of those each season when I was a working man. hat

I got a top and bottoms of this stuff called Mysterioso that I guess kayakers wear and swear by. It definitely helps but it's a bit thicker than I expected so when I wear it I feel like I'm rocking a 7 or 8mm suit. Not sure if it's worth it but it really hasn't been that cold since I got it so I'm kinda waiting for the real test come July or so.

I wore it under my clothes a lot this winter on cold days. Super warm and comfy. Definitely the best base layer material I've owned.

So is fit the main reason AXE is worth the money for you OTDos? Or are they actually really warmer?

Agreed. Body Gloves fit my body style the best by far. If I can't try the suit on first, I'm not buying it. My Patagonia's have been great, but the BG's fit like a glove. Just purchased a new Vapor online since it's coming up on summertime and fullsuit sales are all over the place. Whiskey Militia has killer deals on fulls and short-sleeve fulls right now from XCel, Body Glove, O'Neill, etc...

Both. NOTHING fits like a custom after you've been measured up by a pro.
And the suits are very warm & extremely well built. If you have the dough ....
But I don't anymore. So it's Need Essentials for me!

Your post about the L spring is what made me ask. Having a wetsuit too large sucks.
Cheers.

i wear XL in Rip Curl & went w/ that sizing on this 3/2. everything i've read suggests the sizing is similar, so i'm hoping it'll be fine. i'll post an update on fit when mine arrives & i can try it on.

Great. Rip Curl XL fits perfect. Please update when you have it and have used it a couple times. Cheers!
