FCS2 is slowly becoming a part of my quiver and scavenging grub screws from my other boards is getting old.

$10 for a ten pack of grub screws from FCS is nonsense. I've seen similar screws at the hardware store for 15 cents each, but they didn't have the FCS size.

Anyone know what size they are, I'd order a pack of 100 just so I don't have to buy FCS2 fins.

Good question that I'd like the answer to as well.

10-24 1/4" 2.4 MF-GS160S

they seem to be very hard to find online, so you gonna have to ask around every hardware store

*EDIT: doing a bit more research, the material suffix MF-GS160S can be replaced with 316 stainless steel.

this website (https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=16627) sells 100 for 15 bux

Grendel,

Try shooting to your nearest Fastenal. With any luck they may stock them. If not Im sure they would order them by the single for you. Those guys are usually pretty helpful. Prob best to even take one in to show them....

You can have my spares. My fin system uses metric, so I don't need them. FYI, futures screws are the same thread pattern but longer.

This. You can get them at Home Depot in the screw/fastener section. In the pullout drawers they have. I picked them up in the 3/8" long length which will be a little longer than the standard and leave more screw in the box when tightened down.

Or yeah, a decent surf shop.
