Thought the SEARCH contest was going to be at K38 next year?

I (used to) love surfing that inside peak at k39 at high tide. The wave reminded me of windnsea.

That would be a killer place to build a house and have a boat. You could play golf nearby. If I was a corrupt union member democrat I'd be building it with stimulus money.

here's a shocking idea...put it in the old port just south.

the only people that would use it are the ones who would have
*their surf spot* ruined by the marina anyways. no way it
flies.

Say goodbye!

My Aunt(RIP) and Uncle's house is right oustide the south of the proposed jetty out on that little point, have years and years of adventures based out of that spot and occasional epic days within that immediate zone. I have a classic video from 15 or 20 years ago of us drinking beers then surfing a classic day out there. Was the windsurf spot in baja for a while in the 80's.
Hope this goes the way of most baja projects, proposed, raise money, grade a little ground, and then the owner/builders disappear.

If that overlay is accurate, why wouldn't the design run to that point?

Seems like that elbow would become a collection point for the foul.

It also looks like it's begging for unwanted erosion.
