That 6-4 in Metuchen? At 1.22 cubic liters, thats alot of volume for a Coil. How big a boy are ya?

Probably a little high. Dont know your age or ability though either. Maybe a good deal for when youre wearing winter rubber. Always liked that OG tech too.

I'm just about the same height and weight. Started off riding lower-volume Coils over a decade ago but now riding around 1.15-1.2 nowadays based on age and reduced water time. The great thing about Coils, IMO, is they tend not to be bloated designs at longer lengths; they are still foiled and nimble at size.

I've been eying that board myself for a while since it is such a good price, winter is coming, and I have a few sets of twin-tab FCS fins collecting dust that I know would work in it.

Based on questions you've posted and conversations you've had on this message board, I don't think it's going to be excessively large for you, particularly if you plan to surf in a 5 mil; could be a good reliable utility board.

This morning, dropped my twinner (page or two back) rail first onto the concrete, bounced onto the nose and teetered back and forth while I was in shock. Picked it up expecting a shattered rail and nose -- couple scratches.

Yew!!!

Thanks Coil crew.

I weighed more than you did when I ordered my Coils and my 7'0" gun has that much volume. My 6'4" has plenty of volume and has 1.06 cubic feet.

is there a thread dedicated to the construction of these newer Coil boards? I have an M80 from a few years ago that has the traditional smooth surface, how are these new ones different (better)?

Mike, you guys should post some dimensions on the boards in your Instagram feed .

Boards are looking crazy good, BTW.

Yes please! An update on the full range of models would be awesome too. Otherwise, great work on the new insta account/website guys!

Cleaned the wax off the flashback fish so I decided to share some pics. 8 years on, still looks pretty good!

Looking good! I have a few oldies in my quiver as well.

The outline of that FBF you posted looks so functional and classic in a timeless-kinda-way. Seeing it again makes me think it's my next DD.

Yep very functional shape. Nice and wide but with enough rocker to use at the shitty/steep beach break I normally surf. It just works for me.
