Has anyone done this? I want to use the paint pens to draw some designs on my board (it an eps epoxy board), and I was wondering what is the best way to go about doing it?
Also, do you need to prep the board (other than cleaning it)? What about if you screw up... is there something that will take the paint pen off without damaging the board? Do you need to seal it after the design is done with epoxy resin or anything? How long will the design last? And lastly, what is the best way to remove the design after a couple of months if you're over it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.....

When I did my board I scraped the wax really well then cleaned it all off til it was like new. Then painted. I tried using a spray sealer over the paint which was fine for awhile. It started to peel off eventually though so I just touched it up and never sealed it and it was about the same durability.

You can lightly sand off the paint if you don't like it.

Use the WaterBased Opace paint pen ones. you can put them on foam or glass. regular sharpies will bleed, foamez.com carries the right ones.

Make sure its a smooth surface or it will bleed under the tape.

I've done a bunch of boards. I use POSCA pens. You can buy them at sourcesource. http://surfsource.net/
Seal it with acrylic (clear). Wear a mask...that stuff is super toxic.
