Drylock x 54 . Heavier , but warmer and the ankles and wrists are bombproof even on worst yard sale wipeouts

not so stoked on my all 2 min full comp from them. the neck just seems too damn loose and for the pennies it costs...how about throw in some kind of wrist and ankle gasket things? hell....they're basically just a little ring of wetsuit glue.

Both the 2mm Isurus and Xcel's I've had didn't have ankle or wrist gaskets. Are they normal on 2mm suits?

had an all 2 mil quick full that had it (cell? dont remember). for such a cheap thing to throw in, it makes a world of difference. i think the wold 2 mil full West suits had it. might have had an xcel that had it as well.

IMO, xcel suits suck just as much as the rest of the big brands.

I have a bodyglove pr1me 2mm short sleeve front zip full that is holding up great a least 3 years old and has gaskets on ankles.

I was kind of down on ripcurls durability, but was also using their E bombs which isnt their top of line suit. Ended up with a fancy schmancy f bomb 5/4. Was after an xcel but shop didnt have what I was looking for and needed to get a suit that day. F bomb seems miles better than the e bombs. Have used it a few times now, mostly in water not quite cold enough to really warrant it and so far Im very pleased. Hood is slightly tight would be my only complaint.

Still really high on the new ONeill suits. So stretchy and warm.

Agreed. Been in two psycho I's that are the most flexible suits I've ever owned (even compared to xcel comps) and are lighter and dry much faster.

Going to try the zipless next like you have. That thing feels so flexible.

That is a great suit especially if someone has shoulder or neck issues, since there is minimal restriction.

Just took shipment of a 4/3 Mutant. Will report back after a few winter in the mid-Atlantic sessions.

I’m just here to drink some beer and ride high volume boards.

I tore my 5.5mm ebomb

Couldnt stomach paying close to $500 for an fbomb, so ended up with a 5/4 dawn patrol

Im pretty skeptical about it as no outside seam seals

I guess Ill just be cold for a couple of months

I got a Manera Magma in the summer and it's been one of my favorite wetsuits ever

Manera Magma

I started selling F-One kites last spring. F-One owns Manera. I ordered a wetsuit because of the super deal and I like their styling.

Fits great, lots of mobility, been super durable, super warm. They don't make a 4/3 with a hood, so I bought the separate hood and I usually get too warm when I wear the combo. I really, really like it.

I also got a hookup on the latest greatest Xcel drylock hooded 4/3 and love it. I've been wearing xcels for probably 10 years.

if Manera had a hooded 4/3 that would be my jam. haven't tried the hooded 5/4 because I haven't really needed to.
