The concept itself is racist. It is judging someone and belittling their accomplishments because of the color of their skin

Ok.

But what if white privilege isn't really about white people. What if it isn't meant to belittle their accomplishments. What if it's just to point out that in spite of all the ways discrimination has been outlawed, it still exists. That society isn't colorblind.

Yeah, boo hoo, life isn't fair. But how else is one to acknowledge an issue without putting it into words? Just ignore it and hope it goes away?

White's can't jump. Can't run. Can't hit. Some can't even excel is business now.

Roadblocks have been gone for decades now.

Tell me where they're still up?

I need to attack those roadblocks.

I don't remember that.

I'm sure they could find 1 or 2 people that did. Certainly constitutes "they." Certainly worth the outrage.

Actually McCain stood up to racism. He put ethics before his own political gain. That type of person doesn't exist in the modern GOP. Power over ethics all day. We'll have to wait and see how that turns out in the long run.

Concepts like this enforce and strengthen current racial divisions, what the intentions behind the concept are don't mean anything when confronted with the actual perception

This is another case of the road to hell being paved with good intentions

In some places, with existing minority rules/quotas, that's a plus if they need to meet them.

If so, maybe that's why I didn't get hired a couple times? bawling racist bastards cussing

There's actually small business incentives and perks from the government to claim minority status when incorporating.

I should know, I recently applied as a approved vendor for a company that does a lot military (government) contracts, and the minority inclusions for acceptance are off the charts, if you want to take advantage of them. I didn't, and still was approved.
