Obviously he's been reading the erBB. Quite interesting see the board in beachbreak vs easy point surf. This is actually valuable.

Seems like he's adding more dialogue at locations. Feels more like a vlog. Content is getting better.

Agreed. He refrains from bagging on it too hard but he definitely didn't seem pumped.

Looked like more rocker than I would have wanted for those waves.

"Low rocker" doesn't mean the same thing in AUS as it does in CA.

I have the Black Box 3 (squash). I also had two Black Box 2s (both squashes) before that. IMO the Black Box 2 is a better board. I loved those two Black Box 2s but unfortunately creased the 2nd one recently so purchased the 3. I reckon JS changed to the 3 for change sake and it is definitely not for the better. I'm not a fan of the wide point moved forward. In syaing that, the 3 is not a bad board. . It is just not as good as the 2 which I thought was 'magic'.

I also have a custom monstabox (round tail) that I like better than the 3 but I use that for better waves.

The board definitely didn’t work for him. It looked too long to me and maybe too much volume. He would have done better going custom like he does on most other reviews.

I’ve ridden one of these once in PU for around 5 waves at a bowly waist high spot. Seemed ok but would like larger surf, say chest to head high. The BB2 appeared similar to me.

I know this sounds stupid, and it totally is, but I would not want to surf like Noel Salas. He's a ten times better surfer than I am, but there's just something lifeless and boring about his surfing in my eyes.

10 seconds of Craig Anderson on his big yellow single fin excites me much more, even though I'm not a Craig fan or singley lover.

Noel, should you read this, just disregard my ramblings. Apologies.

Noel does a great job. People can sometimes lay it on too thick, he seems geniunely stoked on the whole deal. Best board reviews (maybe bigger blokes or the odd female) could have a go at it. He surfs good too.
