Wonder what the carbon footprint is for the production of this video.

Wave pool + jet ski = Eco Board!

I like the idea. Looks perfect for small Oceanside bullshit.

I'd consider ordering a custom one from Dan Mann with Justin Ternes glassing.

Something looks funky with the outline - particularly the shoulders/nose of board. Odd there's no turns or slater footage in the vid. Watching a middle-aged shaper in a wavepool (who surfs switch - and with a real setback stance as a reg foot) seems like a weird way to market/sell a board.

Agreed. Odd way to introduce the board. He says it's meant for 1' Oside, then surfs in 3-4' barrels at Surf Ranch. He keeps mentioning his Potato boards, so I guess this a step towards a more traditional outline from those Baked Potatoes/ Chumlees, and it's meant for the guys who loved those grovelers. But if Kelly can't even be bothered to ride a couple waves on it for the video, most of us aren't going to pay much attention.

Hate my leash so much bc it tries to hog tie me on set waves. Never have wrapped it once. My last couple of leashes actually. Couldn't imagine surfing w it on my front foot.

He rides way back on his boards, do not like that aesthetic. Board looks interesting.

If so you may find them donated for a tax writeoff or auctioned off by the pallett to one of those extreme discount action sports websites.

DM fell to the wayside a bit over at FW with the rapid popularity of the Sci Phi and other boards that were designed by KS & shaped by DT err have the Tomo logo on them.

Everyone is not a fan of FW construction so at times the lesser logos (Tomo, Mannkine, Machado, ...) are competing against each other for those FW customers.

There are other issues in the business model that ...lost. Pyzel and others recognize(d).

Checks in the mail and other bennies, the forementioned are "winning" as our esteemed colleague likes to say.

i'm interested... like to see a couple turns on it in some grovel conditions or comparisons to other grovel boards like the spitfire etc.

not on the Firewire train but this one looks kinda good to me. My DD is already a low-rocker, no-wing swallowtail though.
