Yep, I drive my cars until needed repairs are more than it is worth. Never understood spending a lot of money on a car

next time it needs work over $1,000 it's probably gone. i've become totally immune to driving a beat down car.

I've got a 01 Tacoma, 215k miles. The clear coat is peeling, the shell's paint has totally faded, looks horrible but it runs like a champ. It does its job, no reason to replace it until something goes.

I sold my 02' with 150k when we had my son. Sold it to a friend of a friend. She finally sold it not that long ago with 350K with same motor and tranny. A guy I surf with that lives down the street has the first year tacoma with over 300k. Still drives it every day.

I got a 2017 Honda Civic Hatch. 34 MPG. 2.4 L DOHC turbo. Best vehicle I've ever had. Boards lay diagonal in the back. No rack needed. Me and one other with plenty of space up front. It's fast. Sports car like. Handles curves. Loaded. I tear up and down the grapevine on the way to Paso. Blowing by the pack.

I get road head with the sunroof open. 😎🤙💪👌

In a year or two I'm going to get rid of the Subaru and get a used Mini and a used F150. One will be a work/track car and the other will be my truck. My wife will continue to have her Explorer

I heard the mini have maintenance issues.

But that might be a hasty generazstion on my part.

Didn't the explorer rip off the body style of the Range Rover?

Maintenance on the Mini is expensive, because you’re pretty much stuck with the dealer.

You need to use premium gas

It’s really not the car to drive if you want a small, frugal car.

If you can get a good deal, you’re probably better off leasing and not having to worry about it.

But it’s fun as hell to drive.
