What people don't realize is that the people that want to drive fast are going to do it regardless of what others are doing on the road. If you're in the way, especially to prove a point, it just forces them to weave in and out of lanes making it more dangerous for everyone.

There you go with that "logic" again. thought

You guys are forgetting one common scenario: Heavy traffic where there is nowhere to go - there's a long line of cars in front of you, you're passing the cars in the next lane over, and still some douchebag in a giant truck or a luxury car is riding your bumper. All it does is raise the stress level for everyone else and increase the chances of an accident.

I'll totally pull over if the road ahead is clear and someone wants to pass, but tailgating in heavy traffic thinking it will magically get you where you're going faster is utterly moronic.

They squeeze around you just to ride up the next guy's ass, and so on up the line. Dicks who pretty much tailgate everybody.

never

if you have rage or frustration issues of any kind, get that looked at before you overcompensate yourself into a situation where you may not enjoy the outcome.

When I see stupid accidents on the road because someone is being a jerk, there is no excuse for road rage. If you remember that, you'll live another day.

I would say when you are willing to get shot and possibly your family shot as well? This is a different world than it was 20 years ago.
