What's the difference between conservatives and liberals?

Conservatives get angry when you lie to them. Liberals get angry when you tell
them the truth.

What revolution did that guy's generation start? Far as I can tell, all they did was raise kids who raised kids who can't start a lawnmower.

That generation did take us to the brink of the annihilation of the human race! So he has that going for him...

Baby Boomers and GenX really haven't done anything better than Millenials have done. What are some of the crowning achievements of Baby Boomers? Losing in Viet-Nam?

Changing their chant from "Tear Down the Wall!" during the hippie days to "Build the Wall!" today.

And other forms of selling out and hypocrisy.

If the WW2 generation is considered the Greatest Generation, the case can easily be made for the Boomers to be the worst.

Yup. And for the most part, the Boomer's activism of the 60s and 70s only went as far as them caring about THEMSELVES not getting sent to war. They didn't care about anything beyond that. They've been the most self-absorbed generation for 60+ years. And people have the nerve to say the same about millennials. I'm not a millennial, btw.

While I don't agree with the 1945-1965 definition as the era of Baby Boomers, it was during their era that a tremendous number of things changed in society.

I think the 1947-1964 span is a more accurate time for the birth of Baby Boomers, based on what I was taught many moons ago, but not that important I suppose.

And if you think that tatted up person in the meme looks weird how do you think I, a 20 year old Canadian sailor in 1965, thought the hippies in Haight-Ashbury looked?

POV's vary considerably as you go through life.

Never forget that.

Take care.

That's all we use now. Mower got submerged in Sandy. Got it running for a couple more years. My lawn isn't very big.....about 1,500 square feet. Old school reel mower does a beautiful job. Supposedly its better for your grass too.

I really want to get an old school reel mower that doesn't use gas. My wife isn't convinced it's worth spending the money to get a decent one.
