Whole thing is a hoax, no matter who you are a kook or pro we all must distribute weight between front and book foot in a similar manner some of us just do it better than others, even just triming or standing there, we distribute weight in a similar manner, if we don't we don't get the results we are after be it a cutback, reo, air, tail slide, or just trimming.

Put any surfer in this waves margo is surfing on a similar board (quite long compared to todays boards which means more back foot pressure is needed to turn it) and they will have similar weight distribution to do the same turns, if they don't they will either fall off or the turns will be completely different more weight over front foot often equals less power and more slide.(generally towards the end of a turn)

Put margo in down the line fast waves or fat waves and he will appear to be using a lot of weight on his front foot, because thats what he will need to do to gain speed and momentum.
