I have a 5'4, 29 l. Fling. I am 160-165 pounds and for what it's worth, best fin setup I've found so far is 2 Large Roberts on the side and 1 CTG grom fin as a center. Still have some experimentation to do, though...

Going 9+ months on my Thai board. Impressed at the durability. Straighty yesterday. SuperFlex construction has a lot of pop.

And there's not going to be one. When the box arrived at my friends shop, a group of Japanese frothers were there and bought every board in the box. I was getting it at cost, so there's no loyalty to me when my buddy can make a profit.

Hey greg. I've got a 5'8" fling coming in in FCSII. Would you be interested in making me a set of fins for it?

Thanks JKB.

Not hyperbole: I'm honestly thinking of selling all my boards (except for 6'1 ghost and 6'6 ghost) and buying a couple more Flings. So, like 3 flings and two ghosts.

I know what you mean.

Would love to have an entire quiver based off my GMM2. Such a versatile board for me.

Is Superbrand still under GSI? I looked at the GSI website yesterday and couldn't find the Fling.

Nope. I emailed them and they are no longer making Flings. You can custom order one from Super:

https://www.superbranded.com/collec...-fling-superflex-surfboard-special-order

Just bought a 5'5 swallowtail Fling off my friend as they seem to have gotten scarce and didn't want to drop so much on a custom order.

Dang, special order is $739?

I got this one from GSI for $500. It must have been their last batch after contract ended. Should have bought two.
