I suggested to Retodd making this twin Hydro Step creating Vee panels to the rear as a Twinzer , Twin or Thruster with custom plugs and tab placements since it will match my normal for all 3 .

Nice board, Steve. Curious about the fin measurements too.

Greg, post pics of the board you mentioned, if you have some.

5'6"x18.75x0.75 cu.ft. w/4 channels - 5'6"x18.5x0.74 cu.ft.

Got these two about a month ago and been surfing them almost exclusively from knee to OH. Both are WiderBoards "models".

At a glance, there's nothing special about them, just two shorboards. But to me, they're just what I wanted, two reliable, fun and performing sleds that feel perfect every time and then some.

Sometimes fine tuning delivers better results than moving on to a different design.

I don't think I can pick a favorite while having both, but the 4-channel swallow is probably the best pick since I need motivation when it's small.

It's been pretty consistent for the last 4 weeks and with some size, I'm a session (or two) away from being tapped out ^_^ so I'll probably take a day off before this weekend's swell!.

Do people who buy Coil boards actually surf or do they just post pictures of their toys? Just asking because I went back through quite a few posts in this thread and only encountered one weak surf shot. Their insta page is also noticeably lacking in quality action shots. Are these just expensive toys for people who don't surf?

When I go to a board company's insta this is what I want to see.......people flat out ripping on their products.

Rusty strikes a good balance if you want to throw in some lifestyle stuff.

What's the difference between conservatives and liberals?

Conservatives get angry when you lie to them. Liberals get angry when you tell
them the truth.

If you surfed long enough by now you should be able to look at a design or fondle in hands and tell if its going to.work or not. Plus I talk to.my shaper(s) and he either makes it work or stirs me else where. The guys or gals who ride said models could shred on a door and has very little influence on what I buy shrug

My board looks exactly like that board except mine is a round tail. I have surfing on it a bunch lately.I had put the board away for awhile and decided to bring her back out. I installed some reactor fins in it and the board just lit up.

Grom's Dad, here's a little shreddage. They should definitely add more surfing pictures to their page though.
I saw some other pics of a guy ripping a coil HPSB down south somehwre (mex/CR/nica?)

There's plenty if you look at #coilsurfboards, they just don't post many action shots on their official instagram.

I've had 6-7 coils and all but 1 were amazing.

I know a guy in Jersey who introduced me to coils and probably surfs a lot better than you. (maybe not but if you are better, then you are pretty freaking good)

I'd be more concerned about the board quality/shape than how a pro surfer can surf it.
