huh? confused2

customer word of mouth is the purest form of advertising. let happy customers speak for themselves. no marketing bs smoke anus tickle.

i also like that mike will give you what you need instead of having to do the lxwxh model thing. free surfboard consulting service with every board.

also, if coil doesn't want to significantly raise prices (generous of them) and they are at full capacity, then there's no benefit to updating the website. no need for more demand here.

i like kick.

if coil doesn't want to shape a particular shape, why strongarm them to? better to go to shapers that specialize in that particular shape.

with a constantly evolving tech, it is really reasonable to expect them to produce in every past tech iteration? would really mess with production/tooling. also, have to consider other customers' wait times-probably makes more sense to give everyone the "now" version- this also contributes to the evolution of the product.

i still have a massive surf boner for my mike daniels 6'7 comfort gun, the best board i've ever surfed. my 6'1 widerwiderboard goes great too.

coil chugger out! dancing

Salty, be it as it may, whether you like it or not, you really don't have to keep buying what doesn't work for you or if they don't make what you want then go elsewhere, it really is as simple as that. All the orders they get is pretty much just all those who ventured from reading the reviews and then keep on getting more with a few surfshops thrown in the mix, why fix something that isn't broke?

I agree perhaps it is time consuming to go around the erBB or sways and find the reviews you need, but in the end you get more insight.

And I still say your rants are uncalled for, there's nothing to be gained from flaming a reputable business in a forum... on the internet... the place where nothing is taken seriously.

BTW....... MY Coil is TO DATE THE BEST surfboard I have ever ridden.

Got lucky and made $50,619.13 today in the stock market and I still picked up a fricken dime off the ground!

Thats a good idea, I haven't thought of that one yet. foreheadslap
Look dude, we've spoken privately many times about this...
And we all know that you will come to Coils defense at every opportunity. If you & all these new orders are stoked, Cool. But many are not. And Coil has no loyalty to you, I still think your a standup guy.

Id agree with that, when I want something I'll do my homework. But in the end, you still roll the dice 200% with Coil.

You can call it a rant dude, its all good! Is any of that bullish!t tho?
No, no... tell your customers NO?, after many years & dollars spent... can't even get a simple fin box installed. what the Fark is that?

I rode for them, like many many here... and its time to air out the BS. You can take it, or you can go to a grandpa and get well taken care of.

Coils quest for board building elite of the planet already has and will shoot themselves in the foot with OG customers and pissed a lot of people off in the process... leash loops, leash cups, kick version this, version that, fcs2 drama. Just like you said bro, why fix something that wasn't broke. Sometimes 2 steps ahead can put your ass in the quicksand real quick. And the customers were guinee pigs.

And now they won't even make it, they're best boards were grid tech. Whatever, a rant? if thats what it takes for me to speak for many. So be it...

Like I said, many read this thread in disgust now with bad taste in the mouth. 314 pages of stokefest(including mine) and not one post raw post until now.
Frankly, after every order, Im tired of being told no... and treated with no loyalty.

So you think if you stopped ordering today, they would care? Thousands of dollars spent, years of helping them grow. All your boards plastered all over the forums, your posts your PM's.

Don't take this seriously though. Im just bullshittin... monkey

Nah I dont take it seriously, and I respect your opinion... I have yet to deal with what you've gone through, but then I guess we want different things.

Coil did a couple things for me that I'd consider loyal and honestly never expected anyone to do in this day and age.

And for what is worth, I'd defend anyone that deserves backup, you included wink

They have the right to do things their way and you have the right to not buy their boards. You can and have the right to flame them for doing business the way they want.I personally like their boards and will continue to buy from them.

Good luck to you Salty
