Any one with a similar issue with flat deck ?

i bought one and sold it a week later.
i don't know why it didn't work buy cutback-wise it was useless.

I ll work keep working on it, 1 week is pretty quick to get rid of it considering the number of positive review out there ! Saying this, what works for someone does not mean it works for someone else - Have you tried multiple fins ?

no.
considering its popularity and appealing shape i thought it was a no brainer.
not to mention its cost.

but it was shockingly - and depressingly (see price lament) - it was less functional than my softboards.

I wonder if you oversized it? The rails are deceptively full for a given thickness.

yeah it definitely says to go for a thinner thickness than other shortboard, but it makes it a great paddler.

But yeah this board is so so popular on different forum etc.. I need to figure out this thing, maybe foot placement to change

If I'm not mistaken you switched to medium fins on it? I have liked med fins but never loved them. AM2 in everything and sometimes bigger. Try JJF large? If you're lacking drive size up the fins. With a fair bit of tail kick I always like more fin. JJF slotted on the Alien

Oh yeah I switched to the JJ medium instead of the AM2, but only surfed twice with it and I surfed with AM2 since I have the board up until 2 weeks ago. This issue has been here since first surf.

I will give a try with the blackstix F8 on this board, I actually started to like them better on my Neckbeard - Maybe on small surf that can help !
